Miss Elizabeth Sinclair died at her home near Brown's Creek.  She and one of her sisters lived together, just 2 women among the oldest people in the community.  Miss
Sinclair was born 23 Sept. 1839 and died 19 Dec 1912.  She was 73 yrs. 2 Mos. and 19 days old.  She joined Brown's Creek Baptist Church is 1863.


She and her sister Jane show up on rolls for Bogansville Methodist Church near Glenn Springs, from years 1894, dismissed 1897.

Mrs. Jefferson Harrison died Monday [21 march] at the home of her son, J.T. Harris, about 4 miles above Union.  She was nearly 70 years of age, and death
was the result of a stroke of paralysis.  Burial was in the Meth. cemetery.  She is survived by her husband, her son, and a granddaughter, Mrs. J.J. White nee Miss Lilly Harris of McComb City, MS.  [In issue of 25 March1904 Times:....name
Mrs.  M.A. Harris a daughter of William Sinclair.]

Jeff T. Harris died at the home of his son, J.T. Harris, several miles north of Union Wednesday AM [28 Dec] at 5 0'clock, and was buried Friday at Grace Methodist Church.  He was born in Union County in 1832, and young in life, he married a Miss Sinclair.  Of this union 3 children were born, James E. Harris,
Robert W. Harris and J.T. Harris, all having died several years ago with the
exception of J.T. Harris.  Mr. Harris was by profession a civil engineer and attended S.C. College.  At the time of the Civil War he was unable to attend the war and therefore did not enter the military service for his country.

Holder died last week.  He was 54 years of age.  Of eight children born to him, he buried 6.  His wife, who was Mrs. Amanda Sinclair, and two children, Mrs. Louise Bryce and Paul Holder, survive him.  Mr. Holder was a member of the Methodist church, and died of Bright's disease, heart disease and dropsey.  He
had been sick since Oct.  His remains were buried at Gilead cemetery the day following his death.  he was also a member of the woodmen of the world.

Union -- Funeral services for William Thomas Sinclair of Union Route 1, will be
conducted Friday at 4 p.m. at Salem Baptist Church by the Rev. Phillip Duckett.  Burial will be in the church Cemetery.

Mr. Sinclair died unexpectedly while at work.

Pallbearers will be M.D. Martin, Joe Humphries, Sidney Sumner, Toy Fielder, Meadow and George Woodhurst.

The body is at the home.
Brown-Bolton-Jolly Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
