The Journey, Travel it Not Alone

It is hopeful that this page, as it develops, will become a source of peace, comfort and direction to our family and particularly the grandchildren.  The Holy Bible, has the answers to our many questions and insecurities in life; as well as hope and a solid direction as to what our path should be.  Life is a journey and it is reassuring to know that we never have to travel it alone.  As usual, "kind" comments, via e-mail, are welcomed by clicking on this link.

John 1: 14, 10-12  14The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.  10He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. 11He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. 12Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.

IN SUMMARY, many people are seeking peace, joy, or perhaps that fulfilled feeling.  Sort of like the age old question of the meaning of life or more simply - acknowledging that things just don't seem to be going well -- maybe things are just plain rotten!  Surely we have a purpose in life that is bigger than more things or toys.  Of course, acquiring "things" may give us temporary "happiness" until we need another fix ... or another drink or more drugs (legal or illegal) or a bigger automobile or house or a more adulterous life.  Some folks even call adultery "affairs" as if that makes things ok.  More often than not, as humans, we want to be in control.  As men, many times we simply don't want to "ask for directions".  Maybe you are at a point in your life where you Know that there is a better Way.  After all, you didn't find this webpage by accident.  Go to the following website for The Way and much information.  Think about the following statement which is a hyperlink to another website -- click on the hyperlink:  "Things aren't as they should be in my life.  I want to know more."   By the way, I am not affiliated in any way with the website.
