Tantallon Castle, reconstruction with the Bass Rock island in the background as it might have appeared in 1406 when Flemming of Biggar, Lauder of the Bass, Sinclair of Orkney and the young Prince James tried to gain entry but were refused by show of force by the Sinclairs of Herdmanston.  Sinclair of Orkney fled to the Bass with Lauder and prince James from North Berwick so he wasn't involved in the following battle of Long Hermiston Moor.  A reconstruction of  Bass Rock Castle where Prince James and Sinclair of Orkney fled prior to the battle of Long Hermiston Moor in 1406.  A reconstruction of a ship sinking.  Andrew Spratt
